the following sample shows an already described issue with linenotes:

\stoplinenumbering
\stoptext
Last word in body doesn’t get hyphenated. I know that this is something
related to references.
But in the meantime: wouldn’t it be possible that \stoplinenote
internally includes a \prewordbreak command?
